I saw these guys at BeachComber Sat, July 24, and was really pleasantly surprised. I was thinking they were just another local band. They’re much more and better.
I’m a musician myself (Berklee Grad) and I was struck by their sound and musicianship. The bass, drums and guitar/keyboardist/back-vocalist were
skilled and tasteful in their playing The singer has a refreshing and great baritone voice, very resonant. They are into the Groove, as am I, and they had everyone up on the dance floor having a great time. They did some unique renditions of cover tunes by the Stones that everyone liked and danced to. That’s not easy to do.
They did a few Cover tunes and Originals and their Originals were really polished and sounded really, really good. I would have liked the lead singer to switch from acoustic to electric later in the sets, but who am I to say – they were awesome. I’ll definitely see them again. They have a career in music if they want it.
